Tragic Incident at Texas Border Wall Results in Fatal Fall of Mexican Woman

A distressing event unfolded at the Texas border wall in Clint, Texas, leading to the death of a Mexican woman after a fall. The incident, which occurred in November 2023, was reported by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and highlights the dangers faced by those attempting to cross the border.

The incident took place near the Ysleta Port of Entry, approximately 7 miles southwest. A CBP agent, operating a Mobile Video Surveillance System from the U.S. Border Patrol Clint Station, spotted a group near the border wall. The agent saw three women fall from the barrier, landing on top of each other, and immediately called for emergency services while assisting the injured.

The El Paso Fire Department and Life Ambulance EMS units promptly responded to the scene. Despite their efforts, one of the women, a citizen of Mexico, suffered severe head injuries and was declared unresponsive with no pulse. Lifesaving measures were halted, and she was pronounced dead later that evening. The other two women were transported to local medical centers for treatment.
