EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) – El Paso County announced Tuesday that Ascarate Park has begun taking reservations for its picnic shelters over Easter weekend. According to the county, Easter revelers are expected to hop on over to Ascarate Park both Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31, so nabbing a picnic spot could be harder than finding the Easter Bunny’s coveted gold egg.
