1 dead following crash involving motorcycle in Northeast El Paso

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) – A 42-year-old man is dead following a crash involving a motorcycle that happened Sunday, Feb. 4 in Northeast El Paso, according to El Paso Police.

1 person seriously hurt in motorcycle crash in NE El Paso

Police say that the Special Traffic Investigations unit was called to assist in investigating a crash involving a motorcycle at 5:56 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 at the intersection of 10300 Alcan St. and 5300 Sun Valley Dr.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling west on Sun Valley when at the same time, Kristopher Shull, 42, was traveling north on Alcan, approaching the 4-way stop of Alcan and Sun Valley, according to police.

Police say the vehicle struck the motorcycle in the intersection, severely injuring Shull in the head, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Shull was transported by Fire Medical Services to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition, according to police.

Police say that on Wednesday, Feb. 7, investigators were informed that Shull died from his injuries sustained in the crash.
