Two criminals on Texas’ most wanted list, Steven Leifeste and Kenneth Dove Jr., have been arrested. Leifeste, 45, was apprehended on January 26 in Moore, Texas, by the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and DPS Special Agents. His 2012 conviction includes aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and failure to stop and render aid. He had been evading arrest since March 2021, with warrants issued by the Bexar and Henderson County Sheriff’s Offices.
Kenneth Wayne Dove Jr., 46, was arrested in El Paso, Texas, on February 2. His 2016 conviction includes two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. After his release from prison in January 2020, he was required to register as a sex offender. He had been sought after since November 2022 for failing to comply with registration requirements.
These arrests were the result of investigations by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, the Texas Attorney General’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations. No rewards from Crime Stoppers will be paid for these arrests.
