Buen Dia — an El Paso-based eatery known for its chilaquiles — is expanding to San Antonio, taking over the former Earl Abel’s space, according to MySA .
At 1639 Broadway , the restaurant will soon neighbor Italian dining concepts Allora, Amaretti Coffee, and Arrosta.
“It will be our first concept out of El Paso,” Nick Salgado of El Paso’s Pan y Agua Group tells the journal—adding, “The concept with be similar to our El Paso location.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with Pan y Agua, the restaurant group is operated by Salgado, Octavio Gomez , and Chef Rudy Valdes . It is also behind eateries Crave Kitchen and Bar, Fool’s Gold, and Malolam Cantina.
