The streets of El Paso witnessed a somber conclusion to an investigation stemming from a tragic accident that claimed the life of one of its residents. On August 22, a multi-vehicle crash resulted in the death of Sandy Almanza, a 49-year-old from El Paso. Almost two weeks later, El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigation unit has apprehended Jorge Gamboa in connection with the city’s 38th traffic fatality of the year, as reported by the City of El Paso.
