El Pasoans are mourning the loss of one iconic mountain goat, and many believe it’s the fault of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Bob the Mountain Goat, who lived nestled in the Franklin Mountains along Transmountain Road, became famous when various El Pasoans reported seeing him on the mountains. Known for his chill demeanor, Bob quickly captured everyone’s hearts and a Bob sighting was always met with a smile.
