EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Lee and Beulah Moor Children’s Home is celebrating its 65th anniversary this weekend.
The celebrations will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 and 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Moor Children’s Home, located at 1100 E. Cliff Dr.
According to the children’s home, the foster care shelter is El Paso’s only children’s home. It was founded since in 1959.
On Saturday, the shelter will be hosting its anniversary and reunion banquet with the theme “Road Trip Down Memory Lane” for alumni, staff and board members. On Sunday, the shelter will be hosting a farewell brunch, according to the children’s home.
