EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — El Paso Water used a fun event to teach residents and families about the importance of water in a desert environment.
Water Festival, which was free, took place Saturday, Sept. 14 at the TecH20 Learning Center, located at 10751 Montana Ave.
The event included watercolor art sessions, water-related demonstrations, art activities, music and dance entertainment and food trucks. Attendees were able to pick up water-saving showerheads and faucet aerators.
“For customers who have never been to the TecH2O center, this is a great time to visit, learn and celebrate our unique place in the Chihuahuan Desert,” said Jennifer Barr, conservation and TecH2O manager. “This event is a cultural celebration highlighting our relationship with water.”
