El Paso Conn’s HomePlus offers major deals as stores close nationwide

El Pasoans may find great deals on appliances, furniture and computers at Conn’s HomePlus stores in El Paso with their store closing prices.

In line with those across the nation, the Conn’s HomePlus stores in El Paso have announced they will close by the end of the month. However, if all their merchandise is sold, the stores may close sooner.

The El Paso closing is part of the retailer’s plan to close 170 stores in 15 states across the southern United States.

Headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, Conn’s filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in July 2024 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. At the time, it announced plans to close 70 locations across 13 states.

In August of this year, it announced plans to close all remaining stores. The locations shuttered are in all 15 states Conn’s operates in, including more than 70 stores in Texas, 20 in Florida, 12 in North Carolina and 11 in Louisiana.

Conn’s locations in El Paso are Bassett Place, 1971 N. Zaragoza Road, 750 Sunland Park Drive, and a distribution center at 47 Butterfield Circle.
