EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Early voting in El Paso County begins on Monday, Oct. 21 and lasts through Nov. 1.
There will be 33 early voting locations across El Paso County for the convenience of voters. Hours will vary by location, the El Paso County Elections Department said.
Ballots for the Nov. 5 general election will include the El Paso County Water Control and Improvement District No. 4, Anthony ISD, Canutillo ISD, Fabens ISD, Clint ISD, the Town of Anthony, the City of El Paso, the City of Socorro, El Paso County and the County Hospital District and federal and state races.
Early voting begins in Doña Ana County
Key races include El Paso mayor, six City Council seats in El Paso, district attorney, El Paso County sheriff, and five bond initiatives totaling $323.8 million for El Paso County and another $396.6 million in bonds for the University Medical Center, among others.
The City of El Paso is also asking voters whether to cancel the City’s authority to issue the remaining $128.45 million in general obligation bonds for a multipurpose performing arts and entertainment facility for Downtown El Paso.
