Boo at the Zoo and Little Joe Y La Familia top things to do

This weekend is a great time to be a kid.

The annual Boo at the Zoo event returns this weekend at the El Paso Zoo with lots of activities and goodies for the kids. Make sure to dress them up in costume.

El Paso Community College will host several fun family events as well as some scary ones for teens and adults. Those who want a good scare should make sure to get tickets for the KLAQ Haunted Houses of Terror .

The popular family fall tradition of Boo at the Zoo returns Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26-27. The zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 4 p.m.

Sponsored by Raising Cane’s, this fun-filled event offers a not-so-spooky Halloween experience for children. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes and trick-or-treat through the zoo, all while there is a variety of activities and entertainment.

Ana Barbara to perform at Plaza Theatre

Ana Bárbara, an internationally recognized singer-songwriter, will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets ranging from $49 to $149 plus fees are available at Ticketmaster.com .
