Beaumont Army hospital experiences water break

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — William Beaumont Army Medical Center experienced a water leak on Sunday morning, Oct. 27 that was caused by a “failed pipe fitting,” officials at the Army hospital said.

Fort Bliss Fire and personnel at Beaumont were able to contain the leak and they said there was no impact on patient care or on the safety of staff or patients.

All affected areas have been cleaned and will be checked for any damage, officials at Beaumont said.

“Despite the seriousness of the recent event, WBAMC continues to ensure the quality of the care delivered and the safety of our staff and beneficiaries,” Beaumont said in a short news release.
