Raymundo Lara is seeking re-election to the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 34.

The Democrat from Chamberino was first elected in 2018. He faces Republican Larry Sedillo from Las Cruces in the 2024 General Election.

The Sun-News asked each candidate the same five questions ahead of the election. The answers are presented as the candidates submitted them to the newspaper. Sedillo did not respond to emails and a text message from the Sun-News requesting his responses.
