A restaurant that used to be a hotspot for young people on the border is headed to El Paso’s West Side.
The iconic Chihuahua Charlie’s has a “coming soon” sign on the exterior of the building at 2900 N. Mesa St. The shopping center has several businesses, including Uptown Cheapskate Fashion Exchange, Pizza Joint, Wing Stop and Cappriotti’s Sandwich Shop.
There is no word yet on when the restaurant will open. However, many El Pasoans who frequented the one in Juarez during the 1980s and early 90s may be excited to relive old memories. Remember those fishbowl margaritas?
Here are other restaurants coming soon in El Paso.
