ANDREWS COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – An El Paso man was killed in Andrews County Tuesday evening after he was ejected from his vehicle after veering off the road and hitting a fence.
According to a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, at about 7:28 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe was heading east on State Highway 176, near mile marker 226, when the driver failed to stay in a single lane, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and into the south barrow ditch. The vehicle then rolled over before striking a fence.

42-year-old George Luis Torres, of El Paso, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. This crash remains under investigation.
