EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — A detective with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) has been awarded a prestigious certificate from the FBI El Paso Office, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Detective Mario Correa has been awarded the Director’s Certificate, which recognizes Correa’s “exceptional performance and unwavering commitment to the Joint Task Force, which collaborates with the FBI to enhance public safety and combat crime in our community,” according to EPCSO.
“Detective Correa has been a vital member of the Joint Task Force, demonstrating exemplary dedication and professionalism in his role. His efforts have significantly contributed to the success of various initiatives aimed at reducing crime and improving coordination between local and federal law enforcement agencies,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
The Sheriff’s Office says the Director’s Certificate is awarded to individuals who exemplify high standards of performance and commitment to the FBI’s mission.
