El Paso Electric customers to receive credit on their bills

EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — El Paso Electric customers in Texas will receive a credit on their bills from April to June, the utility said in a press release on Wednesday, March 26.

The utility says the average customer will receive a bill credit ranging from $8.24 to $15.05 each month over the next three months.

The utility says it filed an application to “implement an interim fuel refund with the Public Utility Commission of Texas. The fuel factor is designed to recover the cost of the fuel used to generate electricity. EPE does not earn a profit on fuel costs.”…
