El Paso County Authorities Crack Down on Ulta Beauty Heists, Two Suspects Charged, One Remains at Large

El Paso County has seen a string of beauty product heists at various Ulta Beauty locations, and law enforcement is now actively working to put an end to the theft spree. According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, on a social media post, there have been multiple incidents involving three suspects working separately.

In one incident reported by Sheriff Oscar Ugarte, on February 18, two shoplifters made off with cosmetics valued at nearly $1,900. The culprits, who were captured on security footage, then fled in a white GMC Acadia that had Chihuahua, Mexico, license plates. The vehicle was connected to Aileen Rodriguez Escareno, a 20-year-old U.S. citizen, and Jesus Alonso Reyes Guevara, a 24-year-old Mexican national.
