Albuquerque, NM – A dramatic shift in weather will sweep across New Mexico beginning Friday, bringing widespread precipitation, gusty winds, and a steep plunge in temperatures through Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque, a potent cold front will surge southward across the state Friday night into Saturday morning. Rainfall is expected to transition rapidly to snow, especially in northern and eastern regions and through the Central Mountain Chain.
