Health concerns are on the rise in El Paso after the Sheriff’s Office reported possible measles exposure at the Jail Annex. Authorities took immediate action, with the Jail Clinic kicking off testing and collecting lab specimens to send to UMC’s laboratory for analysis. Reflecting a conscientious approach, Sheriff Oscar Ugarte stated, “Our number one priority is the health and safety of everyone in our facilities.” He also affirmed that the office acted quickly upon notification, as obtained by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The precaution underscores the Sheriff’s Office’s commitment to containment and the wider community’s health. Details will be disseminated as they become available, ensuring transparency and public awareness…
