EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Former foster youth in El Paso celebrated a milestone on Monday, becoming the first in the state to complete a new program that helps them get jobs with the Texas Health and Human Services.
Nine former foster youth graduated from the Texas Works Paths to Success (TWPS) program, marking the first group of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) teens to complete the five-week Health and Human Services (HHS) training.
