EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Twenty cadets from the Basic Detention Officer (BDO) Academy Class 25-03 graduated Friday morning, June 27, according to the news release by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The ceremony took place on Friday morning at the Pebble Hills High School Auditorium, located at 14400 Pebble Hills Blvd.
According to the news release, the graduating class, known as the “Sentry Dogs,” has completed an “intensive” program designed to prepare them for careers in detention services.
In addition, El Paso District Attorney James Montoya was a keynote speaker during the ceremony.
“Guided by the motto ‘Forged in Strength – Bound by Duty,’ these cadets have demonstrated unwavering commitment, resilience and professionalism throughout their academy journey,” the press release read…
