Escaped Inmate Recaptured Near Washington Park in El Paso After Multi-Agency Manhunt

In an operation spanning across agencies, an escaped inmate was apprehended near Washington Park in El Paso, Texas. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced the capture of David Oswaldo Parra Jr., 36, after a concerted manhunt was initiated early this morning. The combined efforts of several law enforcement entities culminated in the successful location and arrest of Parra, who had fled while receiving medical care at University Medical Center.
