Paso Del Norte Trail receives over $290K from Texas Parks, Wildlife Commission

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission awarded the Paso Del Norte Trail over $290,000 for improvements on the Rio Grande River Park Trail in partnership with the El Paso County.

The Paso Del Norte Community Foundation made the announcement on Monday, July 14, in a news release.

The $290,072 grant was made through the 2025 Recreation Trails Grants Program. It will be used for trail repairs, additional amenities, and intersection improvements on the Rio Grande River Park Trail, according to the news release.
