EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Sacred Heart Church in El Paso’s Segundo Barrio is seeking your help with monetary donations to restore the iconic place of worship.
Segundo Barrio Historic District opens opportunity for Sacred Heart Church restoration
According to the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of El Paso’s website, the restoration will be to the church, along with the former Sacred Heart School building (now the Pastoral Center), the rectory building that houses the Jesuit residence and church offices.
Additionally, the Catholic Foundation said it needs help to raise $3 million for restoration and infrastructural upgrades. The Foundation will oversee the distribution of funds for the project.
