EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A judge awarded $45.6 million to the family of the late DPS Agent Anthony Salas, who died during an operation in Eagle Pass in 2022.
On January 21, 2022, Special Agent Salas was conducting operations as part of a DPS Special Operations Group working jointly with the US Border Patrol when he was involved in an accident near Eagle Pass.
