EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Max Grossman, the leading voice of opposition against a Downtown arena, has been arrested, according to jail records obtained by KTSM.

According to jail records, Grossman was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on Friday, Sept. 5 on the charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence. His arrest stemmed from an alleged offense that took place on Aug. 27.
Grossman’s attorney, Brian Kennedy, sent KTSM the following statement:
“This ridiculous charge is absolutely unfounded. Our concern is whether it is an action taken to pressure Mr. Grossman in a child custody issue. We intend to completely clear his name.”…
