EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Authorities have arrested and charged two men from Mexico in connection with an attempt to breach a storm drain near the Rio Grande, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed Friday.
According to CBP, border patrol agents apprehended two men from Mexico on Thursday after responding to an illegal entry into the U.S.
The men were then found with numerous tools as they tried to pry open a grate near the Rio Grande, close to the Bridge of the Americas, attempting to breach a city storm drain in El Paso…
