El Paso’s ‘bright’ bandit: steals truck lights, returns a week later for wiring harness

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police need your help identifying a “bright” suspect who reportedly stole equipment from a work truck in the Lower Valley, then came back a week later to finish the job.

According to Crime Stoppers of El Paso, the man caught in surveillance video and shared on social media first stole overhead lights from a Maytag work truck parked at 6932 Gateway East on July 23 at approximately 2:18 a.m.

Then, around a week later, the same suspect returned, but this time he reportedly broke into the truck and stole the wiring harness for the lights…
