Family mourns TSA agent killed in El Paso hit-and-run, remembers his quiet kindness

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The family of a TSA agent who was killed in a hit-and-run on Sunday is remembering him as a quiet, humble man who was just trying to live a meaningful life.

“My uncle David was, he was very much to himself,” said Jazmin O’ Connor, niece of 52-year-old TSA employee David Carmine O’Connor, who died Sunday when he was thrown off his bike following a crash in Central El Paso.

“He wasn’t very flashy or chatty really. He just sort of enjoyed being around everybody,” Jazmin said.
