EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — FCS Wrought Iron is facing new legal troubles as Ary Marivani, the owner, has been charged with a deceptive business practice. According to court documents, the charge was filed on September 4th, stemming from an incident in April where Marivani allegedly accepted a check for $1,515 to provide and install front and side gates but failed to deliver the services.
Customers have reported difficulties in contacting Marivani after payments were made. Isela Perez, another customer, shared her experience, saying she hired Marivani in mid-May to build and install a sliding door. Despite a verbal promise of a 4 to 6-week installation schedule, no work has been completed four months later.
“Maybe like, three weeks passed by. I call him and he would not answer. I would leave the messages I wanted to see the status of my prime. I mean, on my job, that project, okay, so he would never be to my calls,” said Perez…
