EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An El Paso police officer involved in a widely circulated incident on September 6th has a history of misconduct allegations, according to newly obtained records.
The officer, Dewayne McCalop, was part of the police response on Mesa Street where force was used against partygoers, leading to the arrest of Nima Dhendup for assault and Menda Wangchuk Dorji for resisting arrest. Dorji was identified by witnesses as the individual seen in the viral videos.
