El Paso County commissioners to vote on budget increase

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso County commissioners are set to vote on a proposed budget amendment that would increase the county’s operating budget by nearly $9 million.

The amendment, if approved, would add more than $500,000 in special revenue and over $8.4 million in grants, raising the total budget from just over $626 million to approximately $635 million.
