The Lady on the Hill has been standing guard at the foot of the Franklin Mountains since 1916. All those years makes for some very interesting stories. We all know them- they’re spooky and full of mystery. The school has also had some very notable alumni walk the halls from Olympic winners to actors to U.S. Representatives.

105 years is a long time- so long that it’s accumulated a haunted history. Ask anyone in El Paso and they all either have a story about El Paso High School or they already know enough about the lore. El Paso is totally haunted, right? But now, a new high school has entered the chat.

A new viral Instagram video has reignited ghostly gossip around Pocatello High School, in Idaho, where students and staff have long claimed the campus is crawling with paranormal activity. And honestly? They might just be trying to steal El Paso High’s spooky spotlight.

El Paso High Has a Ghostly Rival in Idaho

Built in 1892 and rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1914, Idaho’s Pocatello High is now trending online after a wave of new ghost stories resurfaced. Reports include electrical disturbances, disembodied voices, doors opening and slamming on their own, and even ghostly figures caught on security cameras.
