EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Following the removal of more than 20 squatters from a Northeast El Paso home last week, officials have confirmed that 27 animals were also rescued from the property and are now in the care of El Paso Animal Services.
The home, located at 5733 Hemmingway Drive, made headlines after law enforcement discovered stolen items and severely unsanitary living conditions while clearing out the squatters on Thursday. A significant number of animals were found living in what officials described as “dirty conditions.”
