El Paso Airport asks for donations for workers in government shutdown

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso International Airport is calling on the community to help donate necessary supplies to federal workers who are working without pay through the government shutdown.

The initiative is also taking place across the country at airports, collecting donations of non-perishable food, gift cards and personal care products to aid employees and their families, according to the news release by El Paso International Airport.

Collection hours are from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. at the EPIA terminal drop off, the first right you take as you drive into the terminal area…
