EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Texas Land Commissioner and Veterans Land Board Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham is urging the El Paso community and the entire state to send at least 100 birthday cards to Air Force Veteran Gabriel Malafronte, who will celebrate his 100th birthday on Nov. 10.
Malafronte, a resident of the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home, served during World War II and participated in 15 missions over Germany.
