El Paso honors 250 years of U.S. Military at downtown veterans day parade

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) – The El Paso community gathered downtown Saturday morning for the annual Veterans Day Parade, hosted by the United American Veterans Organization of El Paso (UAVO).

This year’s parade celebrated the theme “Celebrating 250 Years of America’s Military,” paying tribute to the service and sacrifice of U.S. armed forces personnel from the nation’s founding to the present day.

The procession began at 10:00 a.m., traveling through downtown on a route that started on Myrtle Avenue and proceeded along Campbell, San Antonio, and Mesa streets, passing the reviewing stand at Calendar Park before concluding at Florence and Texas Street…
