EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso City Council will hold a work session next week, and one of the agenda items suggests an additional monthly fee that would be paid by El Paso businesses and residents for repairing and maintaining streets.
The agenda item was proposed by Deputy City Manager Yvette Herhandez. The question regarding this agenda item is, why would businesses and residents pay for repairs and maintenance of streets when this is already paid for by El Paso taxpayers?
