Escobar wants answers about dog allegedly shot by Border Patrol

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, wants answers about an incident in which a Border Patrol agent allegedly shot and killed a family’s pet dog at their El Paso home earlier this year.

The incident happened on Sept. 9, when Border Patrol agents reportedly shot and killed a family’s 7-year-old rottweiler.

As KTSM has previously reported, the homeowner said he was fully cooperating with agents and was “not doing anything wrong.”
