12-hour road closure on I-10 West begins Sunday

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Texas Department of Transportation has released a list of road closures for the week of Dec. 5, 2025, that may affect your commute, including a 12-hour road closure on Interstate 10 in West El Paso that starts on Sunday.

Maintenance

Sunday, Dec. 7, from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • I-10 West at Mesa closed.

Detour traffic onto Mesa.

  • Santa Fe entrance ramp to I-10 West closed.
  • Franklin north and southbound under I-10 closed.

Crews will be working on bridge joint replacement.

Monday, Dec. 8 through Friday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Loop 375 Transmountain east and westbound between Border Patrol Museum and Tom Mays Park right lane closed.

Crews will be working on shoulder.

  • US-54 South Exit 20 closed.
  • I-10 East Exit 23B closed.
  • I-10 east- and westbound right lane closed.
  • Reynolds entrance ramp to I-10 East closed.
  • Paisano entrance ramp to I-10 West closed.

Crews will be working on bridge.

Loop 375 Widening Project

Sunday, Dec. 7 to Tuesday, Dec. 9, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Loop 375 main lanes southbound between North Loop Drive and Zaragoza Road (Port of Entry).

Crews will be working on profiling and grinding roadway, removing concrete barrier,and striping.

Wednesday, Dec. 10 to Thursday, Dec. 11, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Loop 375 main lanes south and northbound between North Loop Drive and Padres ExitRamp.
