False shooting report prompts large law enforcement presence near Socorro border wall

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Border Patrol and Texas DPS responded to a report of gunfire at the Socorro border wall; however, it turns out to be “construction noise.”

A large state and federal law enforcement presence was seen on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 11, due to a report of gunshots heard near the Roberto R. Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant.
