EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A traffic stop in Horizon City led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man with outstanding warrants and an additional charge of possession of drugs, according to the news release by the Horizon City Police Department.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, officers conducted a traffic stop along the 14400 block of Rudi Kuefner Drive for an equipment violation.
During the traffic stop, officers also conducted a warrant check on the driver and passenger, 33-year-old Valentine Rodriguez. Rodriguez had an active criminal warrant with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with a $20,000 bond, according to Horizon City Police…
