EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, has awarded the City of San Elizario a $2.4 million grant for home rehabilitation.
The grant was awarded under the Healthy Homes Program, which is designed to “improve housing conditions so families can live in safe, healthy and hazard-free homes,” according to the news release by the City of San Elizario.
