EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A Clint man was sentenced on Monday, Dec. 1, to over nine years in federal prison for conspiracy to transport undocumented migrants, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas.
According to court documents, 19-year-old Jesus David Escareno, aka “El Gerver,” acted as the leader of a migrant smuggling cell operating in the Western District of Texas and the District of New Mexico.
