Man arrested after assaulting two, stealing cars in violent crime spree

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36-year-old man after assaulting two people last week.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s office, deputies responded to an assault in progress on Dec. 11 at the 7000 block of Third Street, where a man attacked a 33-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter before stealing their vehicle.

The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Miguel Rojero, later crashed the stolen car at the 400 block of Vinton Ave. and stopped another vehicle where he threatened to shoot the driver and the passenger if they did not get out of the vehicle…
