1st taste of winter heading to El Paso, Southwest

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, Borderland! After a breezy and partly cloudy day, El Paso can expect one more warm afternoon before a cold front shakes up the weather conditions.

For Saturday night, expect partly cloudy skies and a low in the upper 40s. The winds will blow from the west around 5-10 mph but should remain relatively calm going into Sunday.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with some clouds here and there throughout the day. Winds will blow mainly from the northwest around 5-10 mph, becoming north in the afternoon. Gusts will be on the mild end, ranging from 15-20 mph. Overnight, a storm system will bring shower chances just before midnight along with stronger winds and gusts.
