A driver was found dead after a pickup truck crashed into a ravine off U.S. Highway 62/180 east of El Paso in Hudspeth County, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
The driver, Maria Patricia Plunkett, 56, of Desert Haven, Texas, was found deceased in a crashed pickup shortly before noon on Friday, Jan. 2, on mile marker 50 of the highway that connects El Paso with Carlsbad, New Mexico, Texas DPS said in a news release.
