Dragonfly Scan offers MRI screenings at 6 Texas sites by 2026

DALLAS (KDAF) — Dragonfly Scan is launching statewide across Texas in 2026, revolutionizing preventive health care with non-invasive MRI imaging technologies designed to detect serious health conditions early.

The service, pioneered by husband-and-wife team Robert and Faith Shields, will have locations in Austin, El Paso, Houston and the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with a total of six locations. The emphasis on prevention comes at a time when Texans are increasingly focused on wellness and longevity.

Dragonfly Scan operates under the belief that “prevention is power.” It provides radiation-free MRI imaging, which is designed to reveal early indicators of serious health issues such as cancer, neurological conditions and vascular disease. These conditions can often be detected before symptoms appear, enhancing the potential for effective treatment.
